This program combines classroom learning with hands-on practice to provide a complete education. Starting in the second year, the program lasts for three academic years. In the first year (Semesters 3 and 4 for lateral entry students), students study essential subjects like Electrical Circuits and Networks, Analog and Digital Electronics, Electrical Machines, Electrical Measurements and Instrumentation, and Mathematics. They also participate in lab sessions and workshops for practical experience. In the second year (Semesters 5 and 6), the focus shifts to more specialized subjects such as Power Systems, Control Systems, Microprocessor and microcontrollers, Electrical Drawing and CAD, and Utilization of Electrical Energy. More lab sessions help students apply what they've learned. The final year covers advanced topics like Power Electronics, Switchgear and Protection, and Embedded Systems. Students also choose electives like Renewable Energy Systems and Electric Vehicle Technology. This year includes a significant project and industrial training to give students real-world experience.
