About Us

The Faculty of Law is an academic division within a college or university that focuses on the study of law and legal systems. It is dedicated to providing students with a comprehensive understanding of legal principles, theories, and practices, as well as cultivating critical thinking, analytical skills, and ethical reasoning.
The primary objective of the Faculty of Law is to prepare students for careers in the legal profession and related fields. The faculty offers undergraduate and graduate programs that provide a solid foundation in various areas of law, including constitutional law, criminal law, civil law, international law, administrative law, and more.
Faculty members within the Faculty of Law are experienced legal professionals, including lawyers, judges, legal scholars, and practitioners. They are dedicated to teaching, research, and contributing to the development of legal knowledge and practice.
The curriculum offered by the Faculty of Law combines theoretical instruction with practical training. Students study foundational legal concepts, legal research and writing, case analysis, legal reasoning, and professional ethics. They also have the opportunity to engage in moot court competitions, legal clinics, internships, and practical simulations to develop their legal skills and gain real-world experience.

the society and promote ethical values and practices to strengthen the pillar of justice. And
finally, help the deprived sections of society with legal assistance.

MOOT COURT

The Faculty of Law has a dedicated Moot Court room, designed to provide students with a realistic courtroom experience. Here, students can sharpen their legal arguments, hone their presentation skills, and gain invaluable experience in the art of advocacy.

LIBRARY

Library is the soul of any educational institute and our study resources included choicest publications of reference books, SSC and other Online Portals, law reports, digest encyclopedias, manuals and journals.

COMPUTER LAB

The Faculty of Law has a Computer Lab which is air conditioned and fully equipped with adequate number of terminal with latest configuration and more than 20 computers with internet connectivity for the use of students, teachers and staff working.

LEGAL AID CLINIC

Established in 2017 by the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Bathinda, the Faculty of Law at Guru Kashi University boasts a Legal Aid Clinic. The clinic's mission is to provide free and competent legal assistance to marginalized and disadvantaged individuals seeking justice. Through this initiative, the faculty strives to bridge the justice gap and uphold the rule of law.
