About Us

Faculty of Computing has well equipped computer labs with modern infrastructure. The students are imparted job-oriented skills, so that they may have promising career after passing these courses. Currently around 600 students are studying into various courses at Faculty of Computing. TheFaculty of Computing provides Choice-based credit system for its programmes. It also has various E-Resources to access Journals/ Magazines with internet facilities. UCCA has its own Computer Science Club to promote the Leadership and Organizational Skills of the students by conducting various academic events throughout the year. UCCA is a cornerstone of innovation and research whether it is programming, thinking, algorithmically, solving problems through logic building, working on network administration and information security. UCCA has an environment conducting to the intellectual moral and physical development of the students. After getting very good response, the college has been merged as a constitute college of Guru Kashi University in 2011 with a new name University College of Computer Applications with the addition of new courses like Ph.D. (CA), MCA, M.Sc. (IT), PGDCA, B.Sc. (IT), BCA.
