Preamble


The International Advisory Board (IAB) serves as a pivotal advisory body for Guru Kashi University (GKU), guiding its research directions, academic strategies, research policies, and internal funding mechanisms. IAB is composed of esteemed members whose experience and expertise span global sectors. It reflects our international aspirations, connectivity with both the private and governmental sectors, and commitment to delivering a world-class educational experience.

Role and Responsibilities


The primary role of the IAB is to strengthen GKU's international stature, enhance the quality of research and academic endeavors, foster competitive success on a global scale, and establish GKU as a renowned "research-intensive university." The IAB fulfills these responsibilities through:

  •  provide independent external counsel, through its board meetings and engagement with projects and new initiatives
  •  facilitate the development of strategic partnerships with corporate and institutional entities worldwide
  •  enhance practitioner involvement in research, learning, and teaching, fostering direct engagement with GKU faculty and students
The IAB assumes accountability for monitoring and ensuring quality assurance, offering external expertise on GKU's long-term strategies and objectives. It provides critical feedback from an external expert viewpoint, assessing methodological rigor, relevance, integrity, internal coherence, and alignment with established standards.
