Dr. Jagtar Singh Dhiman is currently working as Registrar, Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo. An Alumnus of Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, he passed his Masters and Ph. D from there. He has 34 years of Research, Teaching, Extension and Administrative experience. He has been additional Director Research (NR&PHM), Additional Director Communication, Dean College of Agriculture, Head Department of Soil Science and Senior Plant Pathologist, PAU.
As additional Director Communication, he was involved in planning, execution and monitoring of programmes for dissemination of latest agricultural technology amongst the farming community through electronic and print media. He also handled various ICAR sponsored Research projects creditably. He is a regular contributor to leading English and Punjabi dailies. He is life member of Indian psychopathological society (IPS), Indian society of Plant Pathologists (INSOPP). He is the recipient of many awards and honours for his distinguished research work like Dr. M. S. Randhawa memorial award, Prof Mohan Singh Award and PAUTA Best Teacher Award.
