Faculty of Education and Information Science

As Nelson Mandela famously stated, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” This powerful truth can only be realised by cultivating a dedicated and committed cadre of teachers – true social architects of the nation.

The Faculty of Education of Guru Kashi University, which includes Guru Gobind Singh College of Education and University College of Education, is devoted to this mission by instilling essential educational, social, and moral values in the teachers of future generations. Guru Gobind Singh College of Education offers B.Ed. and M.Ed. programmes, while University College of Education provides the ITEP programme. Additionally, the Faculty of Education offers a Ph.D. in Education, catering to those who wish to engage in advanced educational research.
