Pharmacy Lab

This lab is working with objective of developing a practical approach of good pharmacy practice which concentrating on compounding and dispensing techniques of different dosage forms.

Monsanto’s hardness tester, Granulating sieve set, Electronics Digital balance, Sintered glass filters for bacteria proof filtration, Millipore), Autoclave, Hot air oven, Incubator, Sieves set, Centrifuge, Microscopes, Photoelectric colorimeter, pH meter, Ointment slab/Ointment spatula, Desiccators, Ball mill, Mechanical shieve shaker, Bulk density apparatus, Double cone blender, tablet punching machine.

Pharmaceutical Analysis

Lab: Pharmaceutical analysis laboratory is the multipurpose set up which embraces the skill of analysis of medicinal compounds is also performed.

Major Equipments: Refractometer,U-V double beam spectophotometer,Potentiometer, Polarimeter, Photoelectric colorimeter, pH meter, Electronic balance, Periodic table chart, Vacuum Pump

Pharmaceutical Organic Chemistry

This is the multipurpose set up which embrace the skill of analysis, synthesis and here purification of medicinal compounds is also performed.

Major Equipments: Refractometer, Potentiometer, Polarimeter, Photoelectric colorimeter, pH meter, Atomic model set, Electronic balance, Periodic table chart, Kipp’s Apparatus.

Pharmacognosy Lab

Pharmacognosy lab provides an opportunity to the students to learn about the medicinal plants and different procedures to obtain the extract of different parts of the plants for the production of pharmaceutical preparations.

Major Equipments: Microscopes, Autoclave, Hot air oven, Microscope with stage and oil immersion objective, Camera Lucida, Eye piece micrometer, Stage micrometer, Heating mantle, Charts.
